What’s the difference between Brand Insights and Audience Insights?

Audience Insights helps customers understand the value of the Twitter audience, the value of their followers, and the value of users reached in a specific campaign. Audience Insights is in limited beta and will be releasing publicly this quarter.

Brand Conversation helps advertisers understand what is being said about their brand organically by automatically classifying all tweets across Twitter related to a brand, and enables brands to measure their Share of Conversation relative to top competitors. Note that Brand Conversation is counting more than @mentions; these are any tweets containing a brand reference.

How is Twitter currently determining competitors?

Competitors can be selected at an advertisers own discretion. Please talk to your account team to select appropriate competitors.
