Submit a Copyright Complaint

Udemy is a technology platform that enables anyone to create and share educational courses. We host more than 50,000 courses on our marketplace. We do not review or edit them and are not in a position to determine the legality of their content. However, it is important to us that Udemy instructors respect the intellectual property rights of others.

If you have a good-faith belief that an instructor is infringing on a copyright owned by you or an organization you represent, you can use the button below to send us an official complaint through our web form. If you prefer, you can also send us a complaint by email or postal mail by following the instructions in our Intellectual Property Policy.

When we receive a validated copyright complaint, our policy is to remove the reported course and, in certain circumstances, to remove all material posted by "repeat infringers" or terminate an infringer’s account.

The web form button below is specifically designed for submitting copyright-related complaints. Please note that submitting a report of intellectual property infringement is a serious matter. If you knowingly submit misleading or fraudulent reports of infringement, you may be exposing yourself to legal consequences.

If you are looking to submit a trademark infringement claim, for example for an unauthorized use of your logo, please follow the instructions here.

If you are looking to report a fraudulent account pretending to be you, please email us directly at copyright@udemy.com.
