Bouncer - Proxy Settings

Issue:
Your Bouncer login page keeps refreshing even after a successful login with no error messages.
Description:
This issue happens only to Internal users (Employees and Contractors) in certain offices that are behind the Private IP space. All users in Sunnyvale HQ except certain customer care folks SHOULD NOT have to go through this setup since most of the desktop IPs in the HQ are in Public IP space.
Solution:
You need to setup your Browser to go through a Proxy server. Given below are the instructions on how to do this setup in IE and Firefox browsers.

Internet Explorer 5.0 and above:
- Open browser window
- Click on "Tools" menu on the top
- Scroll down and click on "Internet Options"
- Click on the tab called "Connections"
- Click on "LAN Settings"
- Under the heading of of "Proxy Server", check the box "Use a proxy server"
  NOTE: DO NOT CHECK the "Bypass proxy server for local addresses" option
- Select the tab to the right "Advanced""
  NOTE: DO NOT fill anything in the "address" and "port" text box
- Under "Servers", in the box titled "Socks:", type in "socks.yahoo.com" and "1080" for the Port
  NOTE: DO NOT CHECK the "use the same proxy for all protocols" option
- Then, "OK" your way out
Firefox 3.0.0 and above:
- Open browser window
- Click on "Tools"
- Choose "Options"
- Choose "Advanced" icon
- Choose "Network" tab
- Click on "Settings" button
- Choose "Manual proxy configuration" radio button
- Under "Servers", in the box titled "SOCKS Host:", type in "socks.yahoo.com" and "1080" for the Port
- Then, "OK" your way out
